ABOUT CET - DAVV

DAVV CET 2017 is the abbreviated name for Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The university conducts this Common Entrance Test. This exam is conducted to help the candidates/applicants willing to seek admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. DAVV CET has courses like B.Com., B.A., B.Com., B.A. LL.B., M.B.A., M.A, M.Sc. etc to offer. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya also has many other institutes i.e. Department of Student Welfare, Center for e-Business, Institute of Engineering & Technology, Institute of Management Studies etc. Candidates must submit the form by the deadline which will be prefixed and mentioned in the first notification that comes out for this exam.

 

DAVV CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

-The Applicant/Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination for getting admission in UG courses from any recognized board.
-The Candidate/Applicant applying for Post Graduate courses must have passed Under Graduate courses or should be appearing in the final year of their UG degree.
-The age of the applicant must not be more than 23 years for the Under Graduate courses.
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 25 years for Post Graduate courses.
-There is a criterion for Age relaxation for reserved category as per rules and regulations specified by the government.

Syllabus for DAVV CET is dependent on the courses the candidate/applicant is thinking of opting for and the courses are categorized in four main Groups namely A, B, C, and D. The exam syllabus for each group is as follows:

Group-A:

-Quantitative Ability
-Data Interpretation
-Logical Reasoning and General Intelligence
-English Language Comprehension
-General Awareness and Awareness of the Socio-economic environment

Group-B:
-Quantitative Ability
-Data Interpretation
-Logical Reasoning and General Intelligence

-General Awareness and Awareness of the Socio-economic environment
